Evelina Apostolova
Regional Vice Governor of Plovdiv Region
Evelina Apostolova was born on 26th December, 1963 in Plovdiv.
She graduated from „Sveti Kliment Ohridski“ Secondary school in Plovdiv.
Mrs. Apostolova graduated from the University of Plovdiv „Paisii Hilendarski“ with a Bachelor’s degree in „Business Administration“ and Master’s degree in „Business Communications and Public Relations“.
From 1991 to 1998 she worked as Head of the Department of Administration and Public Relations at VI & RUS Holding, Plovdiv.
From 1998 to 2003 she worked as a manager of the Art Gallery „Vernissage Baratsite“.
In the period 2003 – 2007 she was Head of the Advertising and Marketing Department at BNT – Regional TV Center in Plovdiv.
Since 2009, until her appointment as Regional Vice Governor, Mrs. Apostolova has been the coordinator of PP GERB for Plovdiv Region.
By order No KB-340 of 10.05.2017 of the Prime Minister, Mr. Boyko Borisov, Mrs. Apostolova was appointed Regional Vice Governor of Plovdiv Region.
By order RD-21-10 of 31.05.2017 of the Regional Governor, Mr. Zdravko Dimitrov, to Mrs. Evelina Apostolova, in her capacity as Regional Vice Governor, has been assigned the following areas of responsibility:
- to chair, participate and supervise the activities of regional councils, committees and working groups related to culture, youth and sports, health, development and technology and social policy;
- to manage and supervise the activities of the Legal and Administrative Control Department;
- to manage and supervise the activities of the Administrative Control, Regional Development and State Property Directorate.
